Hello, my name is Ray Squire. I'm the Managing Director at Driven by Q Ltd. I've been a licensed private hire driver since 2001. I started DrivenByQ as a sole-trader in 2005 with the outlook of providing the very best level of customer care while constantly improving quality.

For me, quality is a crucial part of our service. It must be at the centre of our very existence because it defines who we are and it gives us identity. It sets us apart from our rivals and makes us proud. At the age of twenty one, I completed a four-year "Precision Engineering" apprenticeship and every day, a large sign hung over my head reading "Quality Means Security". That message has stayed with me. Those words influence the decisions I make today.

I suppose what makes DrivenByQ different is the fact I've drawn heavily on my background in manufacturing technology to make us lean, efficient and competent. I've worked hard to implement philosophies that our competitors are simply unaware of. It is why we have developed a state-of-the-art booking system, it is why we became a virtual company and it is why we have cut overheads by 75% when compared to a conventional company.
